IFTTT as an enterprise marketing platform

As an engineer I’ve always admired what ifttt was building – A way to connect disparate systems and automate data and workflow between them. I was an early Yahoo! Pipes hacker, enamored with how easy it made my life. After building and launching Chirpify as the first company to enable in-stream social commerce and payments, our evolution now finds us enabling multiple different types of transactions by connecting social streams, marketing, commerce, crm, and rewards points systems – automating communication, conversion and data between them. In other words, we’re doing very similar things that ifttt has done, but for enterprise brands, and with different systems. We even share the concept of triggers and response, and we call them recipes…
Working across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and inside mobile apps, we give consumers a frictionless remote control to unlock content, earn rewards, and transact with marketing and commerce in-stream, without any redirects, landing pages, or forms to fill out. For brands we’re white labeled, and we’re connecting the dots between systems that weren’t previously linked, automating the following in the marketing and rewards stack…
Finally, we’re starting to connect offline marketing to the online conversion in-stores, in hotels, on television, and on billboards, as well as connecting customer service to the stack. I’m looking forward to what else we’ll do, and how ifttt evolves. There’s certainly more things to connect. – @Chris
